Description

Dowally are Dan Abrahams (guitar), Phil Alexander (accordion and piano) and Rachel Walker (fiddle, whistle and vocals).
The band have also been lucky enough to have a regular collaborator in cello player Graham Coe (The Jellyman’s Daughter).

Described as “Something very special” “Truly great music-making” and “great stuff” by BBC Radio Scotland, folk trio Dowally release their hotly-anticipated second album, ‘Somewhere’ on 20 June 2018, followed by a week long tour of major UK cities.

Description

The Pianodrome is a 100-seater amphitheatre constructed entirely from over 50 up-cycled pianos. Open every day from 3 - 26 August at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

Drop in and play
Daily 10am - 4pm
Five pianos are tuned for all to play and the rest are used to build a circle of tiered seating. Come along for free events, workshops and performances.

New music, movement and more in the world's first ever pianodrome. Brilliant multi-instrumentalists S!nk host different guest acts each night.
