Baron Wilhem and his Blaskapelle
Another night of Bavarian madness on your doorstep. We will be once again joined by Baron Wilhem and his Blaskapelle who will have the place bouncing all night long.
for the last 17 years it’s been in the capable hands of Peter and Jill Wood. They run the Lowes Arms as a family business with strong links to the local community.
Built in 1824 to serve the new Manchester Road this thriving local has a reputation for quality beers and good value food.
The food and drink we provide is sourced from local suppliers and breweries from around the North West, and we stage special events throughout the year, including ladies only dining events, a celebration of Burns Night complete with haggis, a piper and sword dancing and not one but two German style beer festivals – Oktoberfest and Not-toberfest.
Whether you just want a quiet night out, a meal with friends and family or the facilities required for a major celebration, we’re happy to be of service and provide exactly what’s needed.
The comfortable lounge area to the left is the main food area. To the right is the vault featuring a wooden floor and a pool table. The pub has teams in local darts, dominoes and pool leagues.
Get your lederhosen at the ready and cancel any plans for the following day. You'll be fit for nothing!
