Live Performance
Rock n Roll
The True Strays. Rhythm and blues fuelled, good time vintage roots rock and roll.
True Strays started when Joe and James met in a sand pit at play group aged 3 and 4. Their paths were inextricably crossed from that point. They were reunited at secondary school playing guitar and bass in school music concerts and school night trips to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Biffy Clyro. By 2012, they were in a band together and haven’t looked back since. True Strays marks an attempt to create honest, liberating blues driven music with an old school feel.
Lively, stone-built Victorian pub located on the top of Walkley Hill on the Rodborough and Minchinhampton road out of Stroud. The pub manages to be simultaneously bohemian, homely and welcoming. It has an imaginative colour scheme and an eclectic mix of furniture and fittings, including chandeliers. Art exhibitions and themed nights are held including quizzes, backgammon, crib, scrabble, folk music, stand-up comedy, live bands and even political hustings.
We don’t have a kitchen but we welcome Pop Up’s!
Jamaica Inn Kitchen - in association with Sujays - are serving delicious Caribbean Food at The Prince Albert.
