Original 'Olde Curiousity Shop' ambience experienced on arrival. Backed by excellent real ale that no doubt helps the customers to brave the 'dentist's chair' at side of the bar! Located in old part of Berwick next to original road bridge over the Tweed. Downstairs bar used by DJ's and bands at weekends. Winner of CAMRA pub of the year awards. Unique rear open drinking area surrounded by very high walls.
Secret Gang Handshakes (AKA erstwhile Won Mississippi songwriter RJ Flynn) performing live in support of the release of his second solo album.
As with Won Mississippi show, the option to bring and share cake is always welcome. As with Secret Gang Handshakes' shows... if you're their, you are part of the performance: Bang tables, stamp your feet, ping your glass with your finger, sing, dance, chill... it's all good.
