In 2019 we will be open 6 times during the year to the public - always on a Sunday afternoon 2pm to 5pm.
You will be given a plan/map of the gardens on entry and you can take your time wandering around.
On some garden open days there are choirs or local bands to entertain you as you walk round or enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of locally produced cake (or two!!) by the Oast House.
The Head Gardener Brian Hall is always on hand to answer any gardening questions you may have.
We have a visitor book and would be delighted if you could spare a few minutes to write your thoughts or give some feedback on your experience during your visit.
We pride ourselves of being wheelchair friendly for the main areas of the gardens.
Well behaved dogs on leads with equally well behaved responsible owners are permitted to enjoy the gardens.
All funds raised from entry fees and teas/cakes on National Garden Scheme days are donated to the NGS and with a small percentage going to a designated charity of our choice, which changes every year.
In June and August we invite 2 charities to use the gardens for the afternoon to raise funds.
They must be able to staff and publicise the event themselves. If your charity would like to be considered in the future for a charity date (there is a waiting list) please register your interest.
We will be providing musical entertainment for the afternoon, whilst the gardens are open to the public.
