Description

Cleve "Rev Chunky" Freckleton is on a mission to get the world to sing. Since his early years of gospel music to his present day performances he is known as a whole hearted soul brother who leaves his audiences feeling better about the world no matter where they are.

The years as Chunky Butt Funky established "The Rev" as a must see on the live funk and soul scene having played the length and breadth of the U.K as well as Europe and Africa. In recent months he formed and performed with Voices of the Day Choir who are creating a real buzz in the north of England as well as been seen playing solo locally in The Living Room Leeds and The Park Row Brasserie. This goes along with his work as a director for Limetree Festival and A&R man for their newly formed lable Limetree Records. Cleve works extensively with young people which stemmed from his days as director of The Roundhay School Gospel Choir. Whether private vocal lessons or community workshops he has something to offer having played and performed all over the world in bands, choirs and as a solo artist in his own right.
