Static Fires are an ambitious, punchy alt-rock band from Swansea, formed in late 2014.
We released our debut self-titled EP on the 11th of March 2016 and have been going from strength to strength ever since.
As individuals we all have varying music tastes, which we blend together to create the Static Fires sound.
Our punchy but melodic style has been compared to that of Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Kings Of Leon and Alice In Chains.
We consist of Sam Randles - lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jack Clements - lead guitar and backing vocals, Thomas Gibbins - Bass and Jack Piper – drums and backing vocals
In terms of our sound, we’re not trying to reinvent the wheel, we just want to create the best ‘wheel’ that we possibly can. We play the music that we want to play and we have a tonne of fun doing it!
This venue is no stranger to live music acts and since opening nearly 4 years ago The Dragonffli has attracted attention from bands all over the Uk and as far the states. The venue remains dedicated to the continuous support for original artists in the music industry and the future holds much more so don’t miss out on something great!
