Live Performance
Brass Band
We are a Third Section Brass Band based in Allerton, South Liverpool. We have regular performances throughout the year, both for the public and privately, we also have some very exciting projects in the pipeline, which include our Annual ‘Themed’ Concert series.
We rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evening in the neighbouring village of Woolton, at Fisher More Hall, Bishop Eton Church (L16 8NQ).
We’re available to hire – providing ensembles from trios, quartets, quintets, 10-pieces to a full brass band.
Featuring jazz, folk, classical, contemporary and many forms of international music, the theatre's varied programme also includes drama, dance and spoken word performances.
The Capstone Theatre is situated within Liverpool Hope University's Creative Campus, regularly playing host to performances by Royal Liverpool Philharmonic's 10/10 Ensemble, home to the European Opera Centre and Asian arts organisation Milapfest whose monthly Saturday afternoon free concerts of Indian music in the Capstone are a growing attraction.
Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year, so what better way to get into the Christmas Spirit than with a Festive Performance by Allerton Brass supported by the adorable and talented children of Sudley Junior School Choir. Truly a concert for all the family.
As ever, there will be some brand new arrangements and features alongside the traditional. We are also delighted to announce that we will be joined this year by our Special Guest and great friend Danielle Louise Thomas (wonderful Mezzo Soprano and “Voice of Liverpool”) who will be singing with the Band and Choir.
