The Bull's Head is still a rambling 17th Century pub, converted from a row of ancient cottages There are a good variety of rooms within; Pool room, comfortable bar area, well-appointed lounge and a couple of cosy "snugs". At the rear is a modern function room and one of the few remaining crown greens. At night times, there is limited parking available across the road in the Carwash - with the agreement of the owners as it is not used after 5.30pm. Otherwise, parking close is often a problem, but there is a bus stop right outside. The Warrington Folk Song Club, founded in the late 1960's, meet here every Sunday night from 8.30pm, with a chance to sing or play supplemented by special guests every few weeks.
