Akindred are a hard working rock\metal band based in the North West of England.
The band members have all been playing in bands since they were teenagers and have many years combined experience of playing live.
They play a mix of covers along with their own material and pride themselves on NOT choosing the obvious cover songs that other bands play.
Situated on the outskirts of Oldham Town Centre The Bank Top Tavern is Oldham’s friendliest live music venue.

With its welcoming staff, a comfortable atmosphere and seating in the lounge for 90 people plus standing room, the Bank Top Tavern plays host to some of the best live acts around.
Live music Friday/Saturday ranging from rock, metal, punk and all alternative genres to the occasional cheese, the Bank Top Tavern delivers a night out not to be forgotten or missed!
With a large staging area, in-house PA, sound and lighting equipment, sound engineer and “Shamus” and “Spam” our resident DJs, the Bank Top Tavern really does rock!
Totally biker friendly (as we all ride ourselves) with car parking space for several cars and bikes, the staff here are always looking forward to making new friends and welcoming back old ones.
