Originally formed as a full band of highly experienced musicians, with a view of marketing themselves as a live wedding and events band. However, due to other commitments of several band members, the group dwindled down to two. The Hooks were born.

Both members of The Hooks have long and illustrious histories within the Scottish music industry. Playing in a variety of bands. Playing alongside top acts and taking the stage at some of Scotland's top venues.

The Hooks play a huge a wide variety of musical genres, ranging from 50's rock n roll to modern day chart hits and pride themselves on putting their own twist on songs with the help of their slick style and tight vocal harmonies.
