Kris Barras is the U.K's most exciting Blues-Rock Guitarist. His blend of soul-wrenching melodies with blistering technique has thrilled audiences worldwide for the past 13 years. The band's unique mix of foot-stomping riffs and catchy tunes have made them the 'must-see' Blues/Rock band of 2018.

Inspired by his father at the early age of only Six years-old, Kris was already making an appearance on stage before turning Ten. He has since gone on to spend more than twenty years thrilling audiences throughout the globe playing live.

The UK based guitarist has extensive experience touring in various bands, throughout the UK, Europe and USA, as both a solo-artist & session-musician.

The band have appeared at major festivals throughout the UK and Europe. These include Ramblin' Man Fair (UK), Rawa Blues Festival (Poland) and Bliuzo Naktys (Lithuania). 2017 saw the band complete two very successful tours in both the UK and Europe with 2018 lining up much more of the same.

A published author who has written many guitar-technique columns, books and instructional DVD’s; Kris Barras has also been a featured lecturer at the distinguished Academy of Music and Sound. Kris currently writes a guitar technique column for Blues Matters magazine.

'The Divine and Dirty' album was released in March 2018 and went in straight at number one in both the Amazon and iTunes Blues charts as well as Number 3 in the Official UK Blues/Jazz Charts.

Kris was nominated for 'Blues Guitarist of the Year 2017' by Total Guitar magazine and voted into the Top 15 Blues Guitarists in the World by Music Radar.

We have also sensitively cleared out the original factory floor and a grungy, immersive and intimate gigging, comedy and theatre space has been born. We are an independent venture committed to championing Truro and to bringing some fantastic events to our city. Our capacity is 250+ standing, and up to 200 seated, with small events working equally well.
With excellent transport links nearby (train, bus, parking) we’re ideally located for people traveling in from all over Cornwall.
