Pipe Band
We are a Community Pipe Band who welcome all to learn how to play the pipes or drums.
From complete beginner to experienced pipers we welcome all. We have all ages from 7 to 77, from all areas.
We practice at the Irish World Heritage Centre on Tuesdays
New Mills Carnival is the biggest and best in the High Peak! There'll be a 40 minute parade through the town with music, dance, theatre, stilt walkers, carnival floats, Derbyshire Royalty and lots of vehicles.

2022 theme - Superhero's
"Superheros" can be as broad as you like - Comic book and movie heroes, heroes in history or unsung heroes.
Procession leaves Market Street at 1PM and makes its way down Union Rd and up Albion Rd, turning right on to Wirksmoor Rd.
Appearing both in the parade and the performance arena
