Brass Band
Hucknall & Linby Mining Community Brass Band is a friendly, youthful band based in Nottingham.
The band were formed in 2008 and since then have gone from strength to strength, currently competing in the second section.
Comprising members from throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire the band rehearses once a week on a Thursday evening in Hucknall.
As a band we have a youthful outlook on music and brass banding and this generates a uniquely friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
We also run a training band. Open to all ages, if you are interested in learning how to play a brass instrument (or percussion for that matter!) then either come down for a blow at St. Peter's/St. Paul's Church Hall on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm
