Description

We are a traditional Brass Band based in the Cotswold town of Corsham in Wiltshire.

Unlike many other musical groups the band consists solely of brass instruments ranging from the high pitched Soprano Cornet to the low pitched BBb Bass.

The band which formed over 140 years ago plays in local fetes, concerts, weddings and other private and public functions. We are also a contesting band and are in the National Second Section for contesting purposes.

The Band rehearses on Wednesday evenings between 8.00pm and 10.00pm at:

Description

Our John Coles Park is the jewel in our crown – a beautiful green space in the heart of Chippenham regularly attracting 1,500 people on a sunny, summer weekend. The park offers a large area of open space and a circular walk through mature trees. It is maintained to its consistent high standard by our outside team.

The park is open from 8am to dusk spring and summer and from 8am to 4pm from early November to mid-January.

The Bandstand in John Coles Park will be hosting a selection of Sunday afternoon concerts which are free to attend. These popular concerts are a firm favourite in the diary and a super reason to make up a picnic and relax with some gentle toe tapping.

All concerts start at 3pm until 5pm
