Live Performance
Concert Band
Kent Coastal Concert Band was formed in 1991 and we are now in our 27th year! We have been based in Herne Bay for our entire history and are Herne Bay’s premiere band.
We are a friendly band of 50 members that performs throughout the year at various venues around the Kent Coast. Although the nucleus of the band originates from the Herne Bay, Whitstable and Thanet areas, many of our members travel from further afield. We are proud to have musicians of all ages, from school children to retired people.
The band aims to perform concerts of a high standard and is regarded as one of the most successful and able bands in the area. Playing a varied repertoire, we offer a musical programme to suit the tastes of a wide audience.
We perform regular concerts at venues all over the county, including bandstands, festivals and charity events. Our annual Christmas Concert is our biggest and most successful event which is held at the Kings Hall, Herne Bay, where several hundred members of the public are entertained each year.
A fun-filled family atmosphere is our aim at KCCB, so if you fancy being part of our story then do contact us - we look forward to hearing from you!
We always have places for new players
We are a beautifully restored Victorian town house, with elegant, high-ceilinged rooms for hire and a large, contemporary space for larger events. The perfect venue for weddings, parties, meetings, workshops, fairs, talks and exhibitions. Close to excellent rail, bus and road links plus town centre parking. Licensed bar, coffee shop, licensed for weddings, hot-desking facilities and office rental for small businesses, charities and start-ups.
