Rushwood & Co are an acoustic pop trio which cover modern pop along with a range of contemporary folk/rock songs. For example, George Ezra, Mumford and Sons, Queen,Kings of Leon, Bonjovi,Christina Perry... to name just a few.
We bring with us an intimate, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
The Crossways Inn stands as a steadfast presence in Folly Gate, a vital gathering point for the local community and a familiar landmark on the A386. More than just a commercial enterprise, it functions as a social anchor, drawing in regulars from Okehampton and surrounding villages, fostering connections that span generations. Its enduring appeal is rooted in its role as a consistent, welcoming space for conversation and camaraderie.
Step inside, and the atmosphere is immediately one of authentic warmth. Beamed ceilings overhead and timber-clad walls to dado height frame a space where history feels palpable. The soft glow from wall lights illuminates timber-topped tables, inviting guests to settle into upholstered high-back chairs. In cooler months, the gentle heat radiating from the cast iron woodburner in the stone fireplace offers a comforting embrace, a sensory detail that speaks to the inn's deep-rooted character.
Beyond the main bar and restaurant, a sizeable lawned trade garden provides an expansive outdoor setting, complete with traditional pub bench seating for up to sixty guests, ideal for warmer days.
