Worthing Silver Band prides itself on its friendly welcoming atmosphere and has a range of standards within its members as well as a mixed age range, at present the youngest at 13 ranging to a couple of members who are 80 years old.

Worthing Silver Band was formed in 1975 from the Worthing Youth Band, and over the years a large number of players have come through the band’s ranks. Many still play with bands around the county and a few have even made playing music a career. At present we number around 20 but are always looking for new members.

Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at the Queen Street Church Centre, Queen Street, Worthing between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. Everybody is welcome, please come along

The Carfax is the focal point for many of Horsham's events, here you will find space to relax, eat outside and perhaps listen to one of the many musical attractions that play from the Carfax Bandstand in the summer months.

An award-winning markets can be found in the Carfax every Thursday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
