Live Performance
Acoustic Singer-Songwriter
Singer-songwriter Frankie Wesson started writing songs and performing in her hometown of Abergavenny at the age of 16.
You may have seen her performing at How The Light Gets In, Monmouth Festival, Welshfest, Coleford Music Festival, Welsh Warrior, Welshpool Music Festival and many more festivals, local pubs and music venues.
A self-taught musician, her acoustic heartfelt original songs are drawn from personal experience in life, love and growing up. Her eclectic music taste is reflected in her songs.
Raised on artists like Fleetwood Mac, Alanis Morisette, Tracy Chapman and Eva Cassidy she also takes inspiration from a mix of contemporary artists such as Ed Sheeran, Adele, Deaf Havana and Julien Baker. Coming together to create an acoustic poppy-folk feel, of memories to music straight from the pages of her diary.
For one weekend, the world's leading thinkers head to HowTheLightGetsIn's idyllic festival site set on the edge of the Black Mountains, next to the River Wye.
But it's not just debates and talks. There's also an inspiring lineup of music, comedy and performance across our atmospheric venues.
