Brass Band
Sale Brass are a 4th section brass band based in Cheshire. We pride ourselves on being a very friendly and entertaining band and have a very active social side.
We have a busy diary all year round with 3-4 contests and concerts a plenty. We are members of Trafford Arts Association and take great pride in supporting local community events such as Remembrance.
We practise at the Claremont Centre in Sale on a Monday and Thursday evening between 8.00pm and 10.00pm.If you are new to the area and are interested in joining the band please send us a message via our website. Feel free to get in touch no matter what you play!
If you don’t have your own instrument, you are welcome to apply as we have many spare. We also have a thriving training band if you wish to learn an instrument.
Worthington Park is located at the end of Cheltenham Drive in the centre of Sale. Post Code M33 2DQ
Other main entrances to the Park are on Broad Road M33 2ES and via Charlton Drive M33 2BJ.
Worthington Park has been a popular area for recreation since Mrs. Mary Worthington donated the land in 1900. Until 1950 it was known as Sale Park, but was later re-named Worthington Park during the Golden Jubilee (when an oak was planted by Viscount Leverhulme) in memory of the benefactor, Mrs Worthington.
We will again lead the local Scouting and Guiding Groups in their Parade round Worthington Park
