Since being named Best Newcomer at the 2010 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Sam Carter has been stirring audiences from Camden to Canada, via an attention grabbing appearance on Later… with Jools Holland and a dreams-really-do-come-true performance in a specially assembled band to back Richard Thompson at Shrewsbury Folk Festival.
Tuppenny Barn, a registered charity, is an organic smallholding in Southbourne, West Sussex. Our mission is to provide learning experiences for children and adults to promote organic growing, healthy cooking and eating, and sustainable horticultural practices.
We grow high quality organic produce, sold from our shop on Thursday and Friday and via a veg bag scheme.
We have a year round programme of activities, including workshops, events, yoga classes, music concerts and more. These are held outside or in our circular straw-bale built eco-centre.
Tuppenny Barn is available for private hire and is also a venue for Wedding Receptions.
