Live Performance
Soul / Funk
Unlike many wedding and corporate function bands, the Soul Strutters formed absolutely organically, with the single intention of jamming together for fun. Since then, they have become a full-time band gigging at a variety of special events, including weddings, anniversaries, birthday celebrations and charity events.
Unlike a lot of the bands that play covers, note for note and imitating the record, T.S.S like to bring something unique to the table and make tracks written by others their own.
‘Play That Funky Music’ has been heard a million times. The Strutters don’t play the usual standard “Funk Band” covers played without any feeling… they go for the Rare Grooves, the original breaks from classic hip-Hop alongside some of the
sweetest Soul and 80’s groove tracks.
Dorset born & bred, our Bath Stable keeps you well fed. Offering local ciders that’ll go to your head, bringing you the best from the West...they said!
With its exposed brickwork, stylish interior and stunning artwork, our place on Kingsmead Square is one of our favourites. Grab a seat – either inside or out, relax, people watch and take in the vibe. See you at the bar!
We have the usual tasty offering of over 80 varieties of cider and sourdough base pizza with homemade tomato sauce and delicious locally sourced toppings. Try The Blazing Saddle; slow roasted pulled beef, smoked bacon, caramelised onion, grilled red pepper and mozzarella topped with sour cream and jalapeño chillies. Phew!
Our nearest long stay parking is Charlotte Street but there is on street parking right outside. We’re only a four minute walk from the famous Thermae Spa.
