This Swindon based band has evolved over a number of years with the current line-up coming together in 2017.

We have a penchant for taking both well known and obscure folk tunes and playing them in a way that makes them accessible to all.

New songs, original songs and a number of familiar crowd pleasers ensure that everyone goes away from our gigs in a happy place

Description

A busy pub which is a favourite with both locals and tourists. In Dec 08 the Halfpenny Brewery opened at the rear of the Crown and its range of real ales are available through the pub.

We have BT Sport in both the bar and back (games) room of the pub and show live PremiershipChampions League & Europa League matches as well as Aviva Premiership Rugby matches,and other popular sporting events such as Speedway, Baseball, UFC & Boxing.

We have occasional quiz nights, Live music throughout the year and lots of other events as well.
We also host an annual beer festival every August Bank Holiday from our brewery with a number of guest real ales and ciders, live music and BBQ.
