'‘Jack stands out as an exceptional talent whose songs and performance style are simultaneously rich and complex at the same time as being engaging and emotionally touching.’’ - Pete Dale, Slampt Record Label.
Singer songwriter from Holmfirth, England. Jack, in his young career, has already managed to build accolades such as ‘The Ed Renshaw Award, 2018’, ‘Best at the Fest’ (International Youth Arts Festival, 2018) and Semi-Finalist of the BBC2 Young Folk Award in 2016. In March 2018, Jack self-released his first EP and by combining his Indie-Folk roots with clever guitar techniques, he has created a style likened to Paolo Nutini, John Mayer, Rex Orange County and David Gray amongst others.
After moving to London in Early 2017, Jack has been performing as a solo singer/guitarist at festivals and shows all over the UK and spent lots of time developing his sound and songwriting. His most notable performance to date was opening the Main Stage at Carnival 56 Festival, Camperdown park in August 2017.
For one weekend, the world's leading thinkers head to HowTheLightGetsIn's idyllic festival site set on the edge of the Black Mountains, next to the River Wye.
But it's not just debates and talks. There's also an inspiring lineup of music, comedy and performance across our atmospheric venues.
