Brass Band
Reeth Brass Band consists of around 30 players from Reeth, the surrounding Dales, from Ripon in the South to Darlington in the North and Eggleston in the West and Stanwick in the East. The players practice every Tuesday evening in Reeth Memorial Hall from 7:45 to 9:45.
If you already play a brass instrument, are learning to play, or a complete novice who would love to learn something new, then you are more than welcome to come along to the Tuesday Training Band practice between 7:00 to 7:45; or come along before the main practice at 7:45 Come and see if you would like to become a regular member of one of the most popular and friendly amateur bands in the Yorkshire Dales.
The Band prides itself in catering for all ages and standards of musician, our current members range from 8 to 80. Everyone shares the one common goal, that of making music with like minded people.

The Swaledale Festival is an annual 15 day festival of music, arts and walking in the Yorkshire Dales. Noted for its quality, friendliness and scenery.
Noted for the high quality of its programming, the Swaledale Festival attracts artists of international standing, but also runs a Young Artists Platform (YAP) providing opportunities outstanding players in the early stages of their careers. The Festival also features a number of local amateur ensembles.
It is both a registered charity (No, 1025480) and a limited company. As a charity, it relies upon sponsorship and donations as well as ticket income.
The Box Office is in Hudson House in Reeth but tickets are most easily available by booking online.
The festival is spread over several locations in or near Swaledale and Wenslydale.
