We are part of the Silver programme at SageGateshead. The wind band plays a wide variety of music and we perform at many venues in and around Gateshead.
We are part of the Silver programme at SageGateshead. The programme has many open access music groups for players of all abilities who are aged 50 or over. The wind band plays a wide variety of music and we perform at many venues in and around Gateshead.
Do come and join us if you play a brass or woodwind instrument. It's a lot of fun and happy music making.
Situated in the town gardens section of the Beamish museum this bandstand hosts regular concerts.
Performing in the Pit Village marquee from 11.30am to 1pm, and in the Old King Coal Miners Banner Parade from 1.30pm.
