The Tim Green Band formed in Doncaster in 2015. Band leader/guitarist/singer Tim Green has been playing in hard working bands and tributes over many years before a love for blues music brought him back home to his roots. They have released 2 E.P’s of original music but mostly pay tribute to the rich history of the genre by covering such great artists as Bonnie Raitt, Muddy Waters, BB King, Howling Wolf, Fleetwood Mac, Elmore James - and modern artists like Government Mule and John Mayer. Described by Blues in Britain magazine as a ‘Blues guitarist supremo’, Tim Green along with Ruth and Alistair (who are fondly called ‘The Engine Room Rhythm Section’), play and perform with a passion that the music deserves.
