Brass Band
Old Silkstone Band is one of South Yorkshire’s oldest brass bands, with a history dating back to 1861. The band originates from the village of Silkstone, near Barnsley, where we have been based for over 150 years.
Rehearsals now held in Silkstone Common Methodist Church Sunday 7pm -9pm & Wednesday 8pm – 10pm
OSB Host the next of our amazing theme concerts... 1940's and 1950's revisited.
This concert is fabulously filled with music from 2 wondrous era's of music...it is sure to have something to suit everyone's taste.
It's a chance to get your glad rags on, have dance, singalong and join in the fun.
Fancy dress from either era is welcomed.
