Description

Formed in 2013 from the ashes of Star Me Kitten and the percussion section of Seventy 7; The Ex Kittens started life as a one off, 5 song performance supporting Tom Hingley from the Inspiral Carpets.

Audience reaction was so good they stayed together and have gone from strength to strength and are now performing twice a month (by choice) at pubs and festivals across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

With new wave and indie at their core, their sets nowadays range from the Who to Bowie to the Sex Pistols, Stereophonics and Stone Roses. In 2018 as they embark on their first tour and attempt to finish their cover of Vertigo by U2 that they have been working on for 12 months!

The Shoulder Of Mutton Profile Pic

Description

A popular and thriving pub in the heart of the village attracting customers of all ages.

It is one of the oldest buildings in the village and was once a butcher's shop, hence the name. A few old meat-hooks can still be seen in the wooden ceiling in the bar.

Changes have been made in recent years but have not spoiled the essential character.

Standing guard outside is 'Knight and Day', a sculpture from Lincoln's 2017 Knight's Trail.

Ex Kittens will be part of the Mutton's Party in the car park. Come along for Al Fresco new wave and indie music from Lincolnshire's finest plagiarists.
