Formed in 2013 from the ashes of Star Me Kitten and the percussion section of Seventy 7; The Ex Kittens started life as a one off, 5 song performance supporting Tom Hingley from the Inspiral Carpets.

Audience reaction was so good they stayed together and have gone from strength to strength and are now performing twice a month (by choice) at pubs and festivals across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

With new wave and indie at their core, their sets nowadays range from the Who to Bowie to the Sex Pistols, Stereophonics and Stone Roses. In 2018 as they embark on their first tour and attempt to finish their cover of Vertigo by U2 that they have been working on for 12 months!

Here at the Red Lion, we aim to provide a comfortable and friendly setting whatever the occasion.

We offer a range of drinks, a very varied menu and can be booked for events such as birthdays, work parties, stag & hen parties wakes/celebrations of life, christenings & weddings.

We have a large carpark and can accommodate coach parties.
