The Blue Arrow Profile Pic

Description

Glasgow's first underground club dedicated to jazz in the heart of the city!

A basement Jazz venue in the heart of the city, the Blue Arrow is decorated with deeply coloured Timorous Beasties wallpaper, wood panelling and red theatre lights washing the brick walls. Cabaret tables with chequered cloths draw the eye to the obvious focus of the room. A stage, bathed in light with a piano at the centre.

Here, you will experience a variety of jazz styles, with performances displaying Glasgow's vibrant and ever thriving jazz scene, and shows from touring acts from the global jazz world.

Sit back, relax, enjoy one of our tasty cocktails, and get into the groove!

The Katet vs John Williams.

After four years of their sell-out Stevie Wonder show, the eight-piece Edinburgh superband tackles their next legendary artist. Join them on the dance floor as they funk up the music of Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, E.T. and more. All your favourite film scores like you've never heard them before! Expect pounding grooves, funky horns and duelling guitars. Featuring local blues star, Jed Potts (guitar) and Scottish jazz hero, Konrad Wiszniewski (sax). Arranged and led by Musical Director, Mike Kearney.
