Six-piece rockmongers Bacchus set about their audiences with live music from an age when rock truly rolled. Our roots are deep in the '70s, but not exclusively - we always select the right material for every audience. With our extensive repertoire of original songs and legendary covers we always get our audiences on their feet and dancing with a potent cocktail of raunchy rhythms, melodic harmony guitars, head-turning harmonica and punchy vocals.

Based around the South Midlands/South West, we play pubs, festivals and parties - indoors or out, summer or winter. Book us and we come with our own PA, stage lighting, incidental music and that essential travelling companion – a sense of humour well matured by the varied pro and semi-pro musical experience of Bacchus members.

Description

The Lichfield Vaults is a welcoming city centre pub tucked away in a charming cobbled alley leading to the cathedral.

Although opened out into a single bar area, the pleasant wood-panelled interior gives an intimate feel, and the secluded, decked beer garden extends some way back.

The whole pub is disabled friendly and background music is non-intrusive.

We welcome dogs as long as they are kept on a lead.

The Lich attracts an eclectic mix of customers, all of whom are made to feel part of the family, so why not come along and experience its unique atmosphere for yourself.

The Lich has a reputation as Hereford's "rugby pub" with all big games shown live. You can also watch, football, cricket and racing on our three screens (one of which is super-large and one which is outdoors). As well as terrestrial TV, we have all the Sky Sports channels.

Andy's family are from Cyprus and his Greek Mediterranean roots are reflected in the food served at The Lichfield Vaults. The emphasis is on plates to share such as mezes (small dishes) and a selection of platters. We also serve slow cooked pot roasts such as Kleftiko and Stifado. As well as our Greek specialities, you can enjoy a range of baguettes and sandwiches, salads and soups - all our food is freshly prepared and menus may vary slightly from season to season.
