The Royal Valentines

Genre

Live Performance
Covers: Rock, Pop Soul/ Funk and Swing

Description

We are a professional function band specializing in popular covers. We have something to suit everyone, covering music from old Rock & Roll and Rock classics to famous groovy Soul/Funk tracks and new Pop tracks.

We give each song our own unique flavor, and will make sure everyone’s up on the dance floor!

After more than six years playing with a variety of groups, manager and drummer Richard Trussell started the band, originally called ‘Ruby and the Valentines’, in 2016.
Based in Torfaen, South Wales, we started out playing at local venues but were soon contacted by companies for corporate events, and couples for weddings and anniversaries. A real highlight was featuring on Made in Cardiff TV, where our performance was played on their prime-time show. The production company enjoyed our music so much that we were asked to perform on another programme showing!
Now with a new name, The Royal Valentines, and a few new members, we are looking forward to playing at more events across the UK.
