Please join us for a Picnic by the Pool on Saturday September 12th - 7.30pm to 10.30pm!

Saltdean Lido is holding a live music and swimming event and we invite you to join us and bring a picnic. Why are we holding this event? Well, we don't really need a reason do we, we just think we all deserve it given the year we've had so far and as the summer comes to a close.

Saltdean Lido will provide live music from the very popular local band Maida Vale, facilities for swimming, a licensed bar and an atmosphere where we can all have some well-deserved fun. All you need to do is bring your picnic food (no alcoholic drinks, please), something to sit on and towels if you'd like to swim ? but please bear in mind showers will be out of use and space in the changing rooms will be limited (so please come swim ready).

We obviously will be adhering to current restrictions on gatherings and so numbers will be limited.

We will be painting circles (bubbles) on the lawns. Circles will 2.4m in diameter and at least 2m apart. Tickets will be sold at £25 per circle with a maximum of 6 people able to occupy each circle. We'll also layout a one-way system for people to use when moving around the grounds, but we'll ask you to confine as much of your time as possible, and your dancing, to within your circle - and to respect other peoples enjoyment and maintain social distancing between groups. We will also be asking that only one person at a time leaves a circle to go to the bar. Swimming will be available from 7.30 to 9.30, with lifeguards and necessary distancing requirements managed by Fusion.

Common sense rules will apply but we will provide some further details to ticket holders nearer the time and ticket holders will be responsible for the numbers in their circle and for providing any 'track and trace' information as required.

If the weather is bad or if Covid restrictions change, we may cancel the event at short notice and refund any tickets purchased in full
