Description

On The Road Music Fest 2022

Three day music festival for the whole family. Main stage, kids rock tent, DJs, Food stalls, circus workshops, skate ramp.

The festival where you can hear platinum-selling musicians; number one albums; new electric, explosive sounds and watch the sun set over the stage into the sea.

2022 brings the Americana duo Ferris and Sylvester whos latest album ?Superhuman? reached number one in the Official Blues Chart fresh off the press, earlier this year. The 12 track album takes the listener on a journey through the duo?s world where genres intertwine and emotions are stripped down to their core - it?s not one to be skimmed over. Their live show has been refined from experience on the stage with the likes of Robert Plant, George Ezra and Jade Bird and is one to behold.

Jack Bessant is a regular face to On The Roaders after headlining with a special set from his global platinum-selling rock band Reef in 2019. Bessant is back - this time with his solo rock and roll, surf and skate focused folk set. His songwriting clearly mirrors the adventure seeking rocker who has spent a life on the road encountering the huge crowds of Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds, chasing waves along the way.

North Devon locals Shake The Geek emerged into the 2022 festival scene with an ecstatic new electric duo sound - one that turns heads and keeps them locked. New big music and working with some of the best producers in the UK rock scene promises great things from these two.

Keeping On The Roaders dancing shoes on, N?famady?s modern interpretations of traditional West African Mandingue songs and rhythms are infectious with groove. His primary instrument is the balafon ? the traditional wooden xylophone, sacred to West African culture and his family heritage of the griot/djeli. N?famady released his first EP in July 2021, recorded in the legendary Rockfield Studios, with a full band line up.

The OTR22 line-up across the main stage and dance tent continues with the likes of: Marie White, CakeBoy, Jasmine Rodgers, Sam Green, Finn Genocky, Coastline, Tom Capron, Fajita Funk, Alex Lleo, Taylor Latham, Betsy Beard, Region, Bufalo Benny, Idol Giants, Aisha, Radio Sunset, Half Moon Panic, Roy and Andy, SRS Choir and more?

OTR boasts an easy, family friendly vibe with activities to keep the groms busy - skate ramp with pro supervision, the kids rock tent, a circus area, craft stalls, live graffiti and the list grows. Only a short walk, cycle or skate from Braunton village and Saunton beach, it?s perfect for festival newbies or old school regulars. The beers are great (and cheap), the food is perfect, the music is captivating and there?s loads to keep you busy.

On The Road Music Festival, created by SRS owners Amy Newton and Simon Murfet and their Partners Andy and Mimi McAuley, is set on the idyllic fields of Broadlands Farm in Braunton just near the stunning Saunton Sands beach. Its location makes it instantly appealing but when you throw in 3 days of amazing music on a variety of stages, local organic food stalls, craft markets and a fantastic skate ramp it quickly becomes the best place to have your end of summer party. It has a family friendly vibe and something for all ages. Since its inception in 2017, it has gained wide appeal while keeping its community spirit strong.
