UK-Hong Kong Symposium 2025 is a large-scale, not-for-profit, closed-door 2-day conference in London. Designed for Hong Kong civil society representatives and community leaders across the UK to get together, the second symposium in April 2024 was a huge success, gathering nearly 200 participants to strategise on how to combat the dismantling of freedoms in Hong Kong and best support Hongkongers who have relocated to Britain, and over 10 parliamentarians as guest or keynote speakers. The Hong Kong community in the UK continues to flourish. Over the past years, dedicated individuals have gathered in London to uphold the spirit and aspirations of Hong Kong. After five years of diligent effort, we believe it is time to build on our achievements. In this regard, we are considering the formation of the first alliance of UK-Hong Kong organisations in history. By uniting and sharing our collective experiences, we are confident that we can better support Hongkongers in the UK and lay the foundation for a more promising future.
