JEAN-MICHEL JARRE's "OXYGENE" performed by MARK JENKINS
at
The Wharf
Tavistock
18:30

Description
It's 50 years since Jean-Michel Jarre's 18 million selling ecologically inspired album "Oxygene" revolutionised ambient and electronic music.
Now music tech expert MARK JENKINS (Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" for the Moog Synthesizer, Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells" for the Moog Synthesizer, "50 Years of Kraftwerk's Autobahn") performs the album in full accompanied by lights, lasers and advanced computer and AI graphics.
Opening the set are two other 1976 classics of electronic space music - Ashra's beautiful and entrancing "New Age Of Earth" from the Virgin label, and Klaus Schulze's powerful and dramatic "Moondawn".
