The Elles Bailey Band play music that crosses genres, blending roots sounds with blues and soul. Elles has a smoky vocal style and has a talent for crafting and seamlessly weaving those genres to give her songs a contemporary edge.
Earlier this year she released her second album 'Road I Call Home', which was recorded at the Sound Emporium in Nashville and was produced by Brad Nowell. The bluesy base that served Elles so well on her debut album 'Wildfire' is still rock steady, but is decorated with a rich soulful feel. Every song is fresh and original.
Elles will be joined on the Town Hall Live stage by her stellar band, with Joe Wilkins on guitar, Zak Raymond on bass and Tom Gilkes on drums.
Support will come from fellow Bristolian Phil King, who is the complete package with a soulful voice, deft guitar playing skills and the capacity to write elegant and powerful songs.
