Band Bio:

The Tuesday Syndicate Nestled in a lush green valley on the North Devon coastline, the village of Woolacombe is a small but renowned seaside resort as unassuming as it is popular. Celebrated for its vast dramatic landscape, majestic cliff top views and one of the best surf breaks the UK has to offer, the village is one of those paradoxical gems; a secret spot that just about everyone seems to know about. Almost a ghost town in the wintertime, in the warmer months it surges into chaos, as tourists and surfers flood in to enjoy the beach and the consistent swells that form near-perfect waves along its three mile stretch.

It is this remote corner of Britain's South West that the four members of The Tuesday Syndicate call home, and where they played their first low key shows in 2013. The lads are Sam Mayo, lead vocals/lead guitar, Kristian Thompson-winn on keyboard/guitar/backing vocals and Nathan Leyland on bass. brought together through a shared passion for surfing and outdoor coastal life. The indie/rock four-piece have been likened to Sherlocks, Mumford and Sons ('Wilder Mind' sound), Catfish and the Bottlemen and more.

Soon at the forefront of Devon's thriving music scene, with a firm foothold across Exeter and Bristol, The Tuesday Syndicate have taken their bold show on the road playing London dates at the Borderline and finishing their previous tour at the iconic Shepherds Bush Empire. And it's no wonder, wielding that powerful stadium style sound they have become known for. Synths to fill every space are built upon with big piano pieces and atmospheric guitar licks. Allied with a punchy bass tone and drum fills that will have you tapping the air between you and their stage, it's undeniably a show to behold.

In September 2014 they had released their debut EP 'What it's Worth', a collection of songs showcasing a sound soaked in beach life and oceanside sing-alongs. The EP received overwhelmingly positive reviews; BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq Show described the band as 'like Jake Bugg but with a full band and a lot more attitude.
This was followed recently in August 2018 with the release of their new self titled EP displaying their matured rockier style of infectious, catchy screamers.

'The Tuesday Syndicate have garnered big stage experience, joining Bastille and Xavier Rudd in the line-up at Gold Coast Ocean Fest, and performing at the Isle of Wight Festival on the same bill as Biffy Clyro, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Kings of Leon and in December 2016 played to a packed out Shepherds Bush Empire, comfortably filling the larger capacity space their music seems destined for. In their live shows they display the effortless cohesion of a group of musicians who have a close affinity with each other musically as well as personally, who genuinely enjoy performing together as friends. In this age of Instagram fame and image driven media, the members of The Tuesday Syndicate are blessed with the kind of rugged good looks and healthy ebullience one would expect from a group of guys who still find opportunities to surf in their increasingly rare downtime, and remind themselves what brought them together in the first place. This infectious onstage chemistry and easy-on-the-eye approachability lends their performances a relatable intimacy even when the feedback is wailing and the volume is maxed out. These guys work hard and humble to bring the best out of each other creatively, a sentiment echoed in the lyrics to 'The Reason'.... "I will never forget the reason we fight...we're not leaving 'til we get it right...we live for these nights".

Tirelessly touring and songwriting for the last three years, The Tuesday Syndicate have recently been recording in London in preparation for release their second EP. The new material maintains a keen eye on songwriting craft boosted by a melodic pop rock sensibility akin to Bears Den and the Hunna. The Tuesday Syndicate have tapped into a sound with wide appeal tied to their Devon roots; anthemic tunes that depicted intimate and reflective moments. There are new boys on the beach.
