Flamenco Express was born 25 years ago at The Landor, running 'Club Azul' from 1994 - 1996, featuring the best flamenco talent in Britain plus guest from Spain.
Hundreds of venues and scores of guests later we return to the Landor to continue the tradition with an extra-large handful of raw, heart-wrenching flamenco - with 'sizzling soloist' La Joaquina, guitar virtuoso Chris Clavo, the the massive vocal presence of Antonio El Pola; plus the power and grace of Victor Fernández, hot from the hottest Madrid stages.
Flamenco is as universal, powerful and versatile as the blues, as epic as opera, and as delicate and pin-sharp as ballet. Sex and music and history in one hit. For over twenty years, Flamenco Express has existed to do justice to this amazing music by choosing the best artists and allowing them total freedom of expression. The result is a new emotional and artistic experience every night, delivered by an astonishing range of talent.
Victor Fernández
The talents of this incredibly versatile dancer were recognised by major international artists from his early youth. In his short career he has performed with legends such as Rafaela Carrasco, Javier Latorre, Rafael Aguilar, Juanjo Linares and Eva Yerbabuena in major theaters from Spain to Germany, Taiwan, Dresden and Shanghai, and is at the forefront of modern flamenco choreography.
He toured China with the Ballet Flamenco de Madrid, and is part of Rafael Aguilar Dance Company, performing in major theaters in Germany, China and Taiwan, Dresden and Shanghai, and is at the forefront of modern flamenco choreography.

El Pola
Known for over twenty years as a formidably talented singer dedicated to the purest flamenco, Antonio El Pola has grown to fill the greatest stages, performing with many legends of the art, such as La Chana, Paco de Lucía, Juan El Camas, Concha Vargas, Antonio Moya and Juan Castor. A true custodian of the flamenco heritage.
