The legendary folk rockers, Prelude, are back playing fantastic folk rock in a similar style to other north east legends, The Caffreys and Lindisfarne. High quality music and excellent song writing means that this originally three-piece band with their close harmonies always produce brilliant performances. Originally formed in 1970 in their native Gateshead, the band achieved an unlikely top 20 hit in 1973 with a cover of Neil Young's back-to-the-land lament 'After The Goldrush'.. With many other top class recordings behind them the band are still touring and thrilling audiences around the country.

The current line-up consists of original members (husband and wife) Brian and Irene Hulme, ex Fortunes drummer
Paul Hooper and bass player Keith Tulip.
