Description

"David Guez pays homage to the dreamlike and cerebral part of 70's and 80's popan eagerly-awaited sequel should be here soon."
Rolling Stone (FR)

Franco-British musician David Guez is performing in London to promote his debut album An Imperfect Harmony.
The first of two concept albums, it features collaborations with music arranger Chris Elliott (Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson) and Art Director Lawrence Azerrad (Esperanza Spalding, Sting). The album was recorded between Paris, London, New York and mixed in LA by Mick Guzauski (Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams).

David Guez describes his music as out of step with the times. His initial motivation for songwriting was to emulate his musical heroes such as Burt Bacharach, Paul McCartney, Donald Fagen, Kate Bush, Kraftwerk, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.
He is backed-up live by four talented Paris-based musicians, Thibaut Barbillon (guitar, bass, vocals), Antoine Reininger (bass, keyboards, vocals), Mathieu Penot (drums, percussion) and Cyrus Hordé (keyboards, vocals).
