One of our favourite bands of recent years are back! We're happy to host Rotterdam's Lewsberg again with their modern twist on the Velvet Underground and Dutch Literature-inspired songs. This isn't to be missed.

We have Glasgow's Gift Horse in town for their debut Oxford show - a duo combining the breathy chanson-pop vocals of French-born guitarist Audrey Bizouerne with the darkly comic Scottish storytelling of drummer David Maxwell.
Formed in 2017, Gift Horse move fluently between kitchen-sink lyrics that navigate the humdrum and the sublime, flirtations with surf and garage-rock, 4AD indie in the Breeders/Throwing Muses mould, and juxtaposed girl-boy vocals that recall the quiet intensity of Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan.
Stoked to have Bedd playing their debut show for us too - the first foray away from the Family Machine for Jamie Hyatt and his gang of ace musical brothers. Cannot wait!
