We're really excited to bring Super Lemon Days back to Oxford! The slacker indie band from Birmingham play a brand of fuzzed out grungey pop that is absolutely perfect for lazy, hazy summer days/inevitably wet October evenings. Their latest single No Slackin' is a dreamy, fuzzy monster, and we're hoping their set will be more of the same.

Also playing are brilliant two-piece ARXX from Brighton. We caught them at Washed Out Festival earlier this year, and when we heard the duo were touring pretty much every single town in the UK later this year we knew we had to get them down to Oxford. ARXX have new single coming out at the end of August and their current single Iron Lung is such an irrepressible banger that Spotify couldn't help themselves but pop it onto one or two of their coveted playlists.

Also on the bill are local two-piece rockers The Other Dramas, who have just released a killer new single, and Jeff, who are the greatest band ever. That makes it not one, not two, but THREE two pieces! DUO CITY!!!

The gig will be 18+ and the Library has several small flights of stairs, including down to the venue room. Also, Freak Scene shows are inclusive shows, and we want people to feel safe. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, bigotry and general dickery of any kind will not be tolerated. If you feel like you can't handle that, feel free not to come. And if you experience any of these, speak to your nearest Scene Freak (we'll probably be hanging about the PA/door) or to venue staff.

And finally, we recognise that gigs are a financial luxury that not everyone can afford. We try to keep our gigs as cheap as possible, and we need to be able to pay the bands fairly, but if you know you can't afford it and would like to come, get in touch and we can arrange free or discounted entry for you.
