"One of the best of the New Wave of Folk Blokes," says fRoots Mag, adding, "As a guitar player and arranger of traditional songs, Jon Wilks already deserves speaking of in the same breath as your Simpsons and your Morays." While Jon originates from Birmingham, which is where most of the traditional songs he performs come from, he now lives just North of Winchester, so this will be a little like a home-coming gig. He'll be playing songs from his recent album, "Midlife", and its follow-up EP, "The Trial of Bill Burn Under Martin's Act".
