Description

Making their second duo visit to the Guildhall are master fiddler Peter Knight, known of course for his work with folk-rock legends Steeleye Span and his own trio Gigspanner and boxmeister John Spiers, familiar from his part as a mainstay of Bellowhead and his work with Jon Boden. Their previous visit saw them launch their wonderful album "Well Met", the result of a chance meeting at Folk East in 2016, and this time they will bring a seasonal show of carols, wassailling and Yuletide songs. Superlative fiddle playing, squeezebox mastery, fine singing and of course plenty of good cheer and humour as well guarantee a fine time will be had by all.
