Combining photography, poetry and sound, award-wining poet, playwright and photographer Simon Corble presents a mesmerising journey through a year in the White Peak.
"This is no ordinary journey. It is also a beautiful work of art in every one of its facets poetry, photography, soundtrack and stagecraft. The poetry is captivating and sensitive direction by Alice Bartlett ensures that Simon's inimitable presentation of his work makes one feel that this is a conversation he is holding with you in a quiet corner of a local pub on a winter's evening. Words and metaphors flow delightfully and with ease. Spellbinding writing." Buxton Festival Fringe review.
The live performance is accompanied by a touring exhibition of some of the photographs at the gallery and the 'White Light, White Peak' book (published by Fly on the Wall press) will be on sale.
