Denmark Street Big Band are back with amazing jazz artist Jo Harrop, and for this special event, they will be celebrating 100 years of jazz diva Anita'Day. A Verve artist at the peak of her career Anita sang the cream of the American Songbook in her own emotive style. She regarded herself to be a musician rather than a singer layering her performances with raw and passionate realism. Celebrating the life of one of the great jazz Divas, Jo Harrop will bring Anita's passion and synergy with her songs to life backed by the great Denmark Street Big Band who will be playing these classics from the original Billy May charts.
