Without Malice Or Ill Will By Ray Castleton Event Title Pic

Description

A special performance of this highly acclaimed monologue by Ray Castleton organised by the Buxton Branch Labour Party.

Geoff Marsh was a miner. Then a police officer. When the miners went on strike to fight for their industry, Geoff was on the other side at the infamous Battle of Orgreave. Thirty-five years later he tells you his story.

"Ray's writing is direct, realistic and filled with humanity. His policeman character, Geoff, is completely believable which makes the events of this play even more tragic.... A definite 'must see'..." Buxton Festival Fringe Review

Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. The performance lasts an hour and will be followed by a discussion/Q & A.

50% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Labour Party Election Fund.
