The Easter Island Statues [Feb19]

A trio that pack one 'ell of a punch, bringing a huge range of influences to their thrilling take on indie-rock. Their live sets burst with energy and absorbs the sounds of Maximo Park via Editors and onwards to Franz Ferdinand. They've realised an epic new EP and just finished a tour of Germany. Their previous single made it into Nightshift's top 10 tracks of the year. Check out the rather special and epic video to last single 'Laika'.

The mighty Black Hats have played several shows for us over the years, the first back in 2011 and we are soooo excited they are back with a brand new EP and single 'Bad News Telephone'. Mixing up influences such as the Jam, Young Knives and Interpol. Their razor sharp lyrics fit effortlessly over their power punk tunes and a times sound like they are soundtracking a Stranger Things episodes. Come see them again fully plugged in or discover them for the first time.

The August List [Oct13]

The August List are a boy / girl two-piece who play backwards country / porch folk with a startling rock 'n' roll attitude. With tunes as epic and raw as 'Forty-Rod of Lightin' or as rock and rolling as 'Palace in the Rocks' they have been long-term favourites of the Oxfordshire scene. See them play tonight with the full band being Americana version of the White Stripes.
